State Code 730.5 (3)(h) requires supervisory personnel who have non-regulated employee contact to attend this training for two hours initially and one hour annually.
Federal regulation 382.307 (C) requires supervisory personnel who have DOT regulated employee contact to attend this two hour training once and recommends refresher training every three to five years in order to be able to request reasonable suspicion testing on an employee they suspect of being under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance.
